tecplot2011比tecplot2010版本有很大的改进，具体如下：

New Features:

Animation formats supported: MPEG-4, Flash Video, and Windows Media Video
A much wider array of color maps are included by default, including hot metal, earth, and various options for diverging, converging, and qualitative data.
Tiling frames and showing multiple views of your 3D plot are now possible through new options under the Frame menu
Solution time linking added to the Frame Linking menu (replaces option in the Animate menu). Solution time linking settings are now retained in layout files.
Histogram and cross plot visualization is now available (select Distribution Plots under the Tools menu)
Probe dialog stays open when animating and values are updated when animation is paused
Line plot default colors yellow and cyan replaced with orange and gray
Time Series Plots now output to a smaller frame with the data automatically fit to the axes
Default scatter symbol for particle path and streakline calculations changed from squares to spheres in 3D and circles in 2D

Loader Updates:

ABAQUS 6.10 files supported
ANSYS 12.1 Results files supported
CGNS loader supports multiple files, uses the 2.5.4 library, and handles files greater than 2 GB.
Flow3D loader now supports Flow3D-MP 4.1 and Flow3D v9.4
Fluent data loader is about 20% faster
HDF5 loader library updated to 1.8
PLOT3D loader now supports uniform multi-grid and non-uniform multi-grid data and datasets larger than 2 GB
Star CCM+ loader has been removed. Please use Star's Tecplot export instead.

Bug Fixes:

Updated critical component of the CFD Analyzer to be thread-safe
Fixed crash when highlighting mappings in the Mapping Style dialog
Fixed improper plot export to the clipboard
Fixed incorrect orientation of EPS image export
Fixed orientation of vectors after a 2D rotation
Fixed ASCII data export to properly save files with references to non-standard Tecplot fonts
